Why it stays

DOE is less about one universal coding trick and more about a development style: expose what was measured, what failed, and what exact inverse closes the experiment.

Reuse
Experiments can graduate into pipes.
If a DOE mechanism survives exactness, speed, memory and size gates, it can be extracted as an independent module instead of being fused into a monolith.
Adverse results count
